When dreams travel, they change fate. A blind child in a village in India is not promised a bright future. But, Rajpal has changed this notion. As a blind child from a small village in Haryana, Rajpal received the help of Blind Relief Association and he made the most of it.

Rajpal faced his share of problems while studying, but he was always a student with above average academic performance. After finishing school, Rajpal got the opportunity to work on Computers. A hunger to learn and a positive approach enabled him to develop his skills in this area. As the training progressed, his knowledge, ability and confidence in handling computers increased exponentially with steep learning curves. He did this despite facing everyday challenges like commuting long distances and severe financial constraints.

Since, as a student he knew exactly where a blind student encounters problems, Rajpal was ready to teach other blind students after completing his training. Soon, he got a job as a teacher and successfully taught other blind students for many months. His computer training and teaching experience came in handy, when Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) had a job opening. He is now working with the GAIL as a Computer Assistant.
